-by 20, i want to be able to at least play one musical instrument
-by 21, i want to be happily enjoying my first year in University
-by 22, i want to be in the Dean's list
-by 23, i expected to see my big sister get married
-by 24, i expected to see my first niece/nephew
-by 25, i want to graduate with flying colours
-by 26, i want to get a good job and start saving for the future
-by 27, i want to go to Paris
-by 28, i want to get married
-by 29, i want to have my own baby
-by 30, i want to open up a diner.

And when i turn 30, i will make a new list of hopes & dreams.

Kenapa tidak boleh terlalu akrab? Siapa kata?!

Memang. Memang tiada siapa yang berkata.

Namun hakikatnya?!

Pabila sekali ternampak salah seorang daripada kaum hawa sedang rancak bergelak ketawa dengan salah seorang daripada golongan adam, mereka akan terus dipandang serong..

Bohong kau kata??

Tidak sama sekali.

Mengapa begitu yakin??

Kerana aku pernah kena.

'Ohh... Patutla...'
Ye. Aku tahu, sedikit sebanyak pasti ada yang berkata begitu..

Aku suatu ketika dulu amat pasif (ye, aku mengaku). Pengalaman telah mengajar aku untuk lebih bersosial. Aku keluar daripada kepompong kering yang menghalang aku menjadi aku. Sebaik sahaja aku menjejakkan kaki ke bumi ilmu, aku seorang.

Bukan dipinggir, tapi aku yang memilih jalan itu. Aku mahu seorang. Tanpa sebarang pengaruh. Aku mahu berdikari.

Hadirnya seorang insan daripada kaum adam yang ramahnya mengalahkan makcik aku, secara otomatik menjadi kawan aku yang pertama di bumi ilmu.

Aku selesa dengan perwatakannya.

Amat selesa.

Sehingga kemana-mana pun pasti bersama.
Sehingga pecah gelak tawa.
Sehingga segala rahsia di kongsi.

Ye, aku selesa dengannya. Aku tidak rasa kekok ketika bersamanya.

Dan..

Mungkin juga kerana terlalu selesa, aku abaikan keadaan sekitar aku.
Sehingga tiba-tiba, aku terdengar gosip liar yang mengatakan aku dan dia adalah pasangan couple. Macam-macam yang aku dengar. Entah siapa la yang mulakan cerita ni.

Semuanya kata-kata tanpa bukti.
Kata-kata daripada mulut busuk manusia yang tak tahu apa-apa tentang kami.

Aku diamkan. Lantak la nak cakap apa pun.
Ada aku kisah?!
Memang aku tak kisah..!

Tapi, makin aku diamkan, makin menjadi-jadi.
Yela, mulut orang lah katakan.

Sehingga last sekali, aku bawa diri. Aku rimas dengan kata-kata bohong tu. Aku decide untuk lebih bergaul dengan kaum hawa.

Yang pertama, social pressure.

Tapi itu kisah aku. Ingatkan keadaan camtu hanya diaplikasikan untuk aku.

Rupa-rupanya, bila ada pakcik makcik bergelak ketawa berdua bersama, aku terdengar kat belakang aku,

'Aku dengar, tukang kebun dengan acik cleaner tu ada scandal...'

Yang kedua, penambahan dosa.

MasyaAllah..

Rupanya dengan orang lain pun begitu.

Manusia.

Aku sendiri tidak boleh berkata apa. Kerana aku sedar. Kadangkala aku juga akan berkelakuan begitu.

Tapi ingatlah wahai anda yang suka memandang serong, apa yang anda lakukan itu hanya akan menambahkan dosa anda. Dan juga akan menyebabkan orang lain unhappy.

Sekadar peringatan, buat mereka diluar sana dan juga buat diri ini..

Sekadar luahan hati, di pagi Rabu yang hening..

I was blogwalking at Ena Adrina's blog when I came across a post about one of her Wordless Wednesday (WW). Teringat kakak. Dia pun ada post pasal Wordless Wednesday. Curiosity hits me. Real bad! So I Google-ed 'Wordless Wednesday'. And this is what I got:

Aku ada dua orang adik lelaki. Aiman & Adib. Cerita ini pasal Adib.

Cerita 1:
Suatu malam, ketika Adib baru balik daripada mengaji.

Adib: Wa, Adib lapar.

Malas nak layan. Buat bodoh je dengar dia merengek. Ngengade.

Adib: Wa, Adib lapar nii~~~

Still tak nk layan.

Adib: Wa~~~~
Aku: Yela yelaa. Nak makan apa?
Adib: Adib nak nasi goreng. Letak sausage, dengan telur goreng.
Aku: Aikk, order je ke? Meh la tolong masak sekali.
Adib: Yela yela. (tarik muka, tapi still gerak g dapur)

15 minit kemudian (bila nasi goreng sausage dah siap aku masakkan untuk dia)...

Adib: Wa, sedapnye. Thanks Sistaa.. (Hwaa..terharu nyee..)
Aku: Meh cni. Nak sikit.
Aku: Wahh.. Sedapnye.. Sape yang masak ni? (dgn harapan nk dengar pujian daripada Adib)
Adib: What?! (muka penuh terkejut, x paham aku.) You old brain! You cooked it just now! Have you forgotten?!
(Pardon his language. Dia memang macam ni.)

Cerita 2:
Tengahari. Adib & Aiman merengek nak makan instant noodle.

Aku: Apa hari-hari nak makan instant noodle je ni? (marah)
Aiman & Adib: Alaa, boleh la. Kitorang lapar nii...
Aku: Maggi ni sume x elok untuk otak la.. Aiman, kamu nak exam tahun ni. Asyik makan maggi je keje.. pastu nanti cepat lupa. (kesian dorang dapat kakak yang kuat membebel macam aku ni kan..)
Aiman & Adib: Alaa... Boleh la..

Aku naik rimas, so aku masakkan jugak.

Aku: Sedap Dib?
Adib: Mmmm... Sedap!
Aku: Hahah! Tengok la siapa yang masak. (dengan penuh bangganye)
Adib: Tengok! Old brain. Wawa makan banyak sangat maggi. Kan dah lupa. Kan Wawa yang masak tadi..
Aku: Mana ada laa...!

my last minute getaway.

remember my previous post, 'pada saat ini'?

it is a list of things i WISHED to do aite, well, i managed to actually DO some of it...so here goes...i went to a last minute holiday getaway last saturday. it was blasting! fun! tiring [duhh.. of course..but hell who cares..!] ! sunburn-ing? hell yeah! i went to an island actually (destination is kept secret for few 'personal' reasons). went there alone and met a friend there, who lives near the island. she's been my tour guide, been guiding me around the island.

so, what is 'checked' in the list?

after a few months worrying about my further studies, i was finally accepted to one of the matriculation college in malaysia. that lucky college is Negeri Sembilan Matriculation College. there i met new people, new teachers, new studying environment and new lifestyle. i also got myself 2 new bestfriends i.e. Aida and Hammad. these 2 peeps are my gems in KMNS. ooh, and also yusri, abrar, maya and some more girlfriends and roomies. during my first few weeks in KMNS, i was very worried because i couldn't find anyone to get along with. but now, i am very thankful because i have these people beside me. Aida is my roomie, and we hang around together a lot, and that is why i am close to her. on the other hand, Hammad is my practicum leader. my 'talking-crap' friends are yusri and abrar.they are the best CRAP-PER i've ever met!

it rained heavily this evening. i was having a break when the rain started. as soon as i finished eating, i went back to the cafe. my god, quarter end of the cafe was flooded. i felt like sue-ing the management company. i won't say more. let these pictures say the words..

that's a picture of our bartender trying to sweep away the water pool. nyahah!

hurm.. when it's not so busy, my mind was continuously thinking of that Tom Yum Spgtti boy, wondering when he'd be coming again. and i was feeling so...sleepy at that time. i was playing with my apron when i saw his mom. i was very shocked that i immediately feel 'not sleepy'. hahah. but i was quite disappointed when i saw only his mom and sister. he wasn't there. bummer! about 15 minutes later, i caught glimpse of his flops. he was there..! omigawd! HE WAS THERE!! he ordered the same thing: TOM YAM SPAGHETTI.. aww.. he is so adorable and polite. =D

gawd! i wish he'd come every day. he's so cute!

he always came when i started to miss him. =D

haha. but don't worry mama.. he's just a minor crush. if aa have a crush at that 'McD' guy (you know who.. =D), then i have this huge crush at this (regular) customer. =))

my friends back in kedah kept on contacting me. that reminds me how important these people really are.unfortunately, i didn't quite have the time to reply their messages or to return their phonecalls.i'm just so busy working, earning money for my new DSLR. i felt like a total jerk. and ever since the internet connection around my cousin's neighbourhood stopped, i stopped blogging. i've been surfing and browsing through the net these past few days and i discovered that most of my friends have their own blog now. how..interesting..and being me, i suddenly missed blogging. so, from today onwards, i'll try my best to start blogging again. (to those who knows me, i guess you've heard this from me several times now..hurmm)

i've been quiet for quite some time now. and now, i really missed blogging. but another problem arised; my dear lappy is brokened down so i still can't blog often. what a bummer. my examination is the reason why i left blogging few months ago. now my exams are over and i am happily settled in my cousin's house in Wangsa Maju. it felt so good to finally end high school and to finally feel the freedom from a place called 'school'. i admit that when i reached home the other day, i missed school. that was so.. prompt. i never realized that the effect would be this quick.

my plans?

my plans are to go look for a job around Wangsa Maju and saving my salary to buy a new camera. wish me luck on that.

changing minds

when people read this i know people will definitely call me absurd. for years i've been wondering what i really wanted in this world. and all this while i thought that i would love to be a professional surgeon and that it will never change. but god showed me something that i never realized i want so badly. i changed my mind of becoming a pro surgeon when i saw someone dying in front of me. i realized on that very moment that live is in god's hands and i don't want to feel really bad when someone died because of me (it might be because of my carelessness during a surgery or something..).

since i've lost my only ambition, i pushed my mind to think of a new one. i can't live without an ambition. its the reason for me to keep on living. i love to dream big. for months i've been thinking what i wanted to be. so i started thinking of what i like and what i wanted to do. so what is it that i really want? what is it that i really like?

the answer is: Paris! oh yes! i love French language, French cuisine, French culture. anything French wow-ed me.

the next thing that came immediately in my mind was: i need to go to Paris! ASAP!

and that was when i realized that i inherited the traveling hobby from my aunt- Mak Uda. she is probably the most adventurous lady i've ever met. apart from that, i realized that i somehow inherited the passion to write story and journals from my papa. and i am really really into photography but my passion had to be on hold because i don't have my own camera. mobile camera? of course i have one. but the satisfaction is not the same as using the true photography camera.

when i put all of my thoughts together, i came up with: a travel journalist.

does that rings you? well, it involves traveling, writing and PHOTOGRAPHY..! yeay!

but i have other plans. my biggest dream is to travel Europe.
i want to go to every single place that exist there, be it a museum or a flea market.
i want to experience the life there.
i want to meet the people there.
i want to learn their culture,
experience the different season there.
i want to taste fresh berries.
i want to see the different types of cheese that they have back there.
i want to go to the famous fashion stores there.
i want to taste each and every bit of europe.

and if possible i want to go straight to europe after finishing my high school. but i know that that was insanely absurd. i mean, i got no money to start with. and my mama and papa would kill me if i do that. no parents would want to see their children living a hard life without proper and higher education. right mama? (i know my mama's going to read this)..

so, what should i do now?
can i fly straight to Europe after SPM, mama?
can i?
*batting eyelashes and pulling out an innocent face*

ooh,, for starters, why don't you buy me a digital camera mama? a cheap one will do. ooh, and maybe papa can repair my lappy? you know, to get me into writing and photography-ing. who knows when i became a pro photographer i got to shoot my sisters' and brothers' wedding. FOC! hehe.. such a naughty daughter i am! =)

well, it's up to Allah. if He says i'm going, then i'm definitely going. =)

PLKN oh PLKN!

the first thing that i hear today when i reached my class was, "PLKN results were out!"
i don't remember who said that. then the whole block [form 5's block] was chaotic. everybody looked very nervous. and everybody was busy trying to check whether they got on the program or not.

PLKN (Program Latihan Khidmat Negara) or NS (National Service) is a programme for post SPM candidates. i dare say that 80% of students in Malaysia doesn't want to be in this programme. well, in this case, i'm one of them. i don't want to be in this program because i have been planning my post SPM activities since last month. i don't mind if i am accepted, but i prefer NOT to be accepted.

there are two ways to check your registration status:
1. Via SMS
2. checking online

when i reached hostel, i immediately turn on my lappy to check my registration status. unfortunately the internet connection was down this afternoon. while i was waiting for the internet connection, dayah called me. she told me that she checked Amani, Aina, Yati & Farahani's status. Farahani and Yati got in [gud luck girls!].

people were talking about PLKN everywhere & i got annoyed when everyone i met asked me if i got in. so i decided to check via SMS. the message was delivered but i didn't get a reply from them. i waited & waited.

after our prep preiod, i checked my phone and they still haven't reply my request. then i tried to hook on the internet and check again.
i am downright relieved when it says that i am not accepted. i was overjoyed.
oh yes i do!!

School was fun! As usual, we had our regular assembly (yeah, our state calendar is a bit weird. It started with a Sunday).

We sang the national anthem, the school song and then the Smart School Song.

Then the prize presentations began. Our school won a lot of competitions. *proud2*.

Some of it was:
~the English Public Speaking (District Level): CHAMPION!!
~the Geography Forum (District Level): 1st place too!
~the KRS Marching Cadets (State Level): 3rd place.

Congratulations you guys, for bringing up our school's name!

After the presentation, our Co-Curricular teacher, Mrs. Zaiton, gave us some speech about co-curricular activities and its importance. It was so boring! I nearly fell asleep when she was giving her speech. After that we sang the State's Ministry of Education's Song & the State's National Anthem.

Our first subject was Agama and the teacher was not in. I was quite disappointed as I had already memorize my prayers. We only learn Physics today, out of 5 subjects. Our Malay teacher was in but by the time she entered our classroom, nobody was there. All of us went to the school dentist for the regular checkup.

Fani doesn't want her mouth to be checked so she run away abruptly when our monitor told her that her dental card was missing. Lucky her that the dentist didn't caught her running away. We asked her why she refused to get her mouth checked and she answered: *drumroll*

"Aku tak suka la orang ghobek2 (robek2) mulut aku!"

Haha..! We ended up laughing very hard at her. She is very funny!
Well, I missed my checkup too. No! I didn't run away! My card was missing! So, they asked us to write our names and go back to our classroom.

The teachers were still not in so Qaddy, Meda & me decided to play the combat game. The game was fun but very painful as you have to hit your friends if you win. I ended up having red arms and palms because Qaddy & Meda always won.

While we were having fun playing, our monitor, Munif told us that our Physics teacher was in. So, of we go to the laboratory. The lab was very dark and dull that almost everyone ended up dozing off. The fun bit was that Mr. Amin wasn't the least bit offended. Instead, he told us to go home early (thanks Sir. You are very understanding! )

I ♥ going to school if this is what we always have to do.

I had so much fun today & I hope that tomorrow is the same.

i was in a bad mood early this afternoon. so i decided to surf the net to drown out all the tense. while i was busy surfing and exploring the net, Shafyz came with a bowl of DURIANS! finally! i've been craving for durian for weeks now. i am so happy that i immediately put aside my lappy (sorry darling). when i approached Shafyz, Amy, my other dorm mate, says, "Go and take another bowl of durian in that paperbag."

i was speechless. thanks you guys for the Durians. it was very meaningful to me. i ate a lot of it that both Amy & Shafyz advised me that Durian will heat up my body. and i told them "i don't care. i want to eat as much durian as i can."

later that night, Anna's mom brought some laksa for us. it was a lot and we can't finish it. so we decided to call the other dorms to come and finish them up. for a moment, it feels like my dorm was having a feast. & the dorm ended up like a durian orchard. hihi.

we were so full and most of us started laughing & talking & mumbling. i felt like a complete idiot. i feel like i'm on pills. I laughed very hard tonight & i've never felt this full before.

i've finally managed to do the spaghetti.
i cooked the spaghetti for my dorm mates.
the ingredients cost me about RM50. it was not as expensive as i had expected.
but i am glad i made it and it tasted just like mama's spaghetti.

and, yeah, everyone was busy.

during BM (i think..not sure..), my friends and i was bored to death.
we were waiting for recess.

mama finally gave me the spaghetti recipe that i wanted from her.
but the one she gave me was fixed.
i need some adjustments for the recipe.
and i was wondering when i can chat with her to adjust some of it.
to my greatest surprise, there she was greeting me on my facebook.
i was shocked and i wondered where she was. (since our house in Brunei doesn't have access to the internet and the only place she always go online was from her office and it was about 11 something already.)
she told me that she IS in the office at that time. and may stay there until 3-4 a.m.
she got to do some work before her colleague, Winnie flies to Shanghai to meet the printing company.
so, the deadline was.....today.
pity her.
she is very hardworking.

i had moodswing today.
it started with my face.
there's something wrong with my face.
it was oily && smelly.
i don't know what it was!
darn itt!!

that was first,
then, i discovered something uneasy.(let it be a secret.)

she was joking.

here goes.

with me unprepared,
i crashed the venue,
that is 7A2's class.
i only have my pencil case and my note card with me.
when i first arrived at the corridor (2nd floor) i saw teacher Zurina at the parking lot, on her way to go up.
i started becoming nervous just by seeing her because last year she was one of the judges.
then i got into the classroom.
i finally saw my opponents.
i was very relieved when i saw that majority in the class was juniors.
so i say to myself, "I'm the only senior so far. I can take over these crowds."

i saw familiar faces.
most of them had participated in last year's public speaking competition.

teacher Zu was already in. she told us that we were waiting for the judges
not long after that, i saw my English teacher, teacher Zakiah and another English teacher, Datin Solehah coming into the room.

so, we started our competition.
the first speaker was a little chinese girl.
i didn't remember what form she was.
her topic was quite interesting.
it was about a teenager's freedom.
when she first spoke, i started to have goosebumps.
"Damn this girl was good! And she's a junior!"
i lost my confidence.
then her turn was over.

there were a few people delivered their speech.

when it was my turn,
i gathered ALL of the confidence that i can.
i put it ALL together.
to my own surprise,
i managed to deliver it in quite a positive way.
loud, clear voice and good pronunciation.
the only negative side of my speech today was that i got no style and i didn't memorize my text.
all in all, it was a LOT better than my presentation last year.

this was what i observed today, during the competition:

i THINK Regu (an Indian boy) & A.S. used the same topic that they used last year.
a boy named Vincent talked about blogging, his text contents was almost the same as my English PowerPoint Presentation last year.
One of school junior debater used my public speaking topic last year but she added some additional points.
Teacher Zurina slept. hihi. but, there's this one time, where she suddenly stood up and take pictures of the competitions.
Teacher Zakiah stared at me while i'm delivering my speech. she also smiles at me. A LOT! in some way, her behaviour actually relaxes me.
Datin Solehah looked quite strict.
Teacher Zurina's son was very active. he was walking around the class.
7A2 was a very nice class. they put some guppies in the middle of the classroom. they put it in an aquarium with some aquatic plants.the world nowadays are so modern.
the timekeeper looked like she was about to faint.
the Emcee scribbles A LOT..! i wonder what she was scribling..hurm..

after the results was announced, i was quite disappointed when my name was not in the list.
but, i know that i did not do my very best.
and i also knew that if i prepare earlier i should've got the chance for the second round,
after that, most of the people that were eligible for the second round stayed for some instructions from Teacher Zu. i don't know what i'm doing there, but i stayed too.
the voice inside my head kept on telling me to go because i'm not in for the second round.
but the other half of me told me to stay.
deep inside my heart, i was actually hoping that i might,somehow, be part of the first round winners.
then, TeAcher Zakiah turned around to look at me and said,
"it's okay Najwa. It's a good try. the only problem with you is that you don't have the style. but your pronunciation is really good."

i walked home saying to myself, "i didn't get the second chance to win but at least i went home with a compliment from the teacher."

and i would not fuss about me not winning anymore because i know that there are something good that i did during my talk.

a few weeks after the school re-opened, Anis told me that she wanted me to be one of the committee in her bureau. it was fine with me so i agreed.

the following week, she told me that i got a place in her bureau. as a head of form 5's. so, all food complaints from form 5's students should go directly to me.

in one of the meetings, Yana, told Anis that she needed a personal assistant to help her. huhu..

without seeing what's in for me, Anis told me that I'm now appointed as Yana's assistant.

And with that, I am OFFICIALLY PROMOTED.. haha..

SHOW OFF....!!

our assembly today was very funn..! i really love the smart school song. it was very catchy. i tried to download the song but there's only the malay version available. we sang the english version during assembly. after assembly all of the club's chairperson were asked to gather for a little briefing. so i stayed as i am the chairperson of the consumer's club. i'm not surprised when i saw Syed there. he's the chairperson for the science club. the briefing is about our club's bulletin board. the teacher told us to update it by thursday. a simple thing actually. just to throw away last year's post. i think i'll do it on wednesday. yep yep.

during biology we had fire drill. my friends and i knew about it and we're not as panic as other people when we heard the fire alarm. we were asked to gather at the school field. our line was near to the form 6's line. Amani was psyched we she saw her "Gan Senpai". huhu. i saw Syed. Again. At the school field. a small ~~field~~ school it is. it was burning hot. and those little innocent sweat started to drop. one by one. i am feeling very uncomfortable by then. but little Mr. Firefighter hadn't stopped talking. which means more sunbathing for us. the girls,especially the chinese had started to grumble. i could see them infront of me, to my right, to my left and even behind me that they were grumbling something in chinese. it was downright annoying..! helloo..! you guys weren't the only ones there...!

the fire drill finally ended after some fire extinguishing demonstrations. everyone was relieved.

i am not going online again until thursday as i have my February Assessment coming tomorrow.

Thursday - Chemistry & P.E. (yep! we have written PE paper..bummer!)

A very good school near the Malaysia-Thailand border.

The days in school had never been this bad before.

Why..? What happened today..?

I woke up early, I bathed and then I dozed off again. Piah told me never to do that because it'll make me feel more sleepier. But I ignored her. I slept again after taking my bath this morning. And, like she told me before, I woke up sleepier than before taking my shower. But I forced myself to get ready for breakfast. It was my daily routine to go for breakfast with Piah. I thought that by eating breakfast would make me more energetic. Unfortunately it doesn't work. MORE SLEEPIER I guess. Because of the food maybe. While waiting for our daily role call, I leaned on a pillar and dozed off. AGAIN..! The juniors can't help laughing when they saw me sleeping there. I am embarassed for doing so, ohh yes I am. But I am so sleepy that I did not care what anybody would want to say about me.

The bell finally rang and I finally reached school. I tried to have a chat with my friends to throw away this drowsiness. Failure! Failure! Failure! And I started to get very depressed because I could not concentrate on what my teacher's are saying..! BUMMER! After recess, I walk around the school compound as another initiative to end my sleeping disease. I thought it was working but, again, I'm wrong.

We had chemistry after recess. I managed to survive for the first half an hour. After that, my eyes were heavy again. I even got my chemical equation wrong. Plus, I got Yati laughing out loud when I told her my equation. This is what I supposed to get:

"Carbon Dioxide + Water + Yadda Yadda = Carbon bla bla bla"

Instead, I got:

"Carbon Dioxide + Water + Yadda Yadda = UBAT CUTI SAKIT"

Whadda..?? I guess I did the equation in my dreams. That is why I ended up with that answer. And I thought that I got the answer right..! Pffh! I was really worried that I might have sleeping disorders. So, I planned to sleep as soon as I landed on my comfy bunk bed in my dormitory.

The best part is I managed to survive during Physics class ONLY. Maybe it's because I'm very much in love with Physics. =))

After Physics, I went to our dining hall to eat lunch. Then, I went to my dormitory. I prayed and decided to sleep. But this laptop and wireless thing is very distracting. I ended up surfing the net and when I checked the time, it was 3:45pm. Time for my evening prep. I quickly switched off my lappy and get ready for my prep.

In the end, I never managed to get my sleep. But I'm thinking of sleeping early tonight.

Lesson of The Day

I went to the musollah for Maghrib prayer today. When I arrived, the boys had already started the dzikirs. So I decided to recite it with them because usually I read the al-Qur’an before azan. After the Maghrib azan, we prayed together. As usual, Cikgu Ku will give us some tazkirah. Tonight’s tazkirah was about the knowledge that we should learn.

According to Cikgu Ku, there are two types of knowledge that we should learn. Those are fardhu kifayah and fardhu ain knowledge. The fardhu kifayah knowledge was not compulsory to the muslims but it is a sin if none of us studied it. However, if there’s at least one of us that studied this kind of knowledge, then everybody was excluded from the sin from Allah (I hope you guys understand what I’m babbling about up to this point).

He told us that most of us was just studying the fardhu kifayah knowledge and was ignoring the fardhu ain knowledge, the one that each and very one of us should be learning. He told us that the fardhu ain knowledge was the one that’s going to help us in the hereafter.

The fardhu ain knowledge was into three basic parts, that is the tauhid, tasauf and erm, I kinda forgot the third one. Tauhid is studying Allah. His disposition. On the other hand, Tasauf is the study of our moral values and how our attitude should be when living in this not permanent world of Allah.

So, that’s the lesson of the day. And I post this because I’d like to share it with you guys out there. Will post again later when I remembered the third basic fardhu kifayah knowledge.

Suhail, a great loss.. =|

Suhail is my junior. A very good junior indeed. He is a very alim boy. He was appointed to lead our dzikir before every Maghrib prayer. He was very good at that. He memorizes many types of dzikirs. I felt very enthusiastic to go to the musollah everyday for both Maghrib and Isyak prayer because I got to recite the dzikirs. The way he recited it was very high-spiriting. It was very nice to hear all the people in the musollah recite the dzikirs together, loud and very enthusiastic. It felt very calming. When it was his turn to be the imam, he could recite the surahs with correct pronunciation and perfect tajwid.

However, Suhail is not around anymore. He left today because he got an offer to MRSM and he accepted it. If I’m not mistaken, he got straight A’s for his PMR. And while waiting for the MRSM offer, he registered for the Agama stream which added B.A.T (Bahasa Arab Tinggi), Al-Qur’an dan Sunnah and Syariah Islam to the compulsory subjects. That was very good. But at the same time, a very great loss to both our school and our hostel. He is an excellent student, so I am not surprised if he chose to further his studies in MRSM.

When Cikgu Ku, our hostel’s Biro Agama’s advisor, asked him to hold a high position in the bureau (he was a committee in that bureau), he told Cikgu Ku that he doesn’t want to because he wanted to accept the MRSM offer if he got one. A very bright student he is.

I could not picture anybody that could replace him to recite the dzikirs from now on. If there’s anyone that was appointed to lead the dzikir, for sure he’ll not be as good as Suhail. It was his choice anyway, so all I could do now is to pray for his success in MRSM..

what a dayy..!

i am now sitting on my bunk bed with Piah sleeping next to me..there's only 2 out of 10 people in my dorm right now..it was a very tiring day..well, maybe not for me..but almost all of my friends are tired today..i really pitied them..
we had our Sport's Day Rehearsal Day today..a lot of my friends were involved in this upcoming Sport's Day,which is tomorrow..most of them joined the uniformed marching team..majorities were the police cadets..

Taekwondo and Silat members did some demo. Taekwondo's demo was very well co-ordinated. On the other hand, Silat's demo was very interesting. A lot of climbing people's back, flying kicks and high jumping.

Piah have been sleeping since 3:15pm until now. She's going to do taekwondo demo tomorrow as part of the opening ceremony. I watched the rehearsal earlier this morning and it was fun. Almost all of the teacher's were not in the mood for teacheing, except for my Additional Mathematic's teacher. She never failed to enter the class no matter how busy the school is. A very hardworking teacher i guess. She gave us (only 13 out of 33 students in the class. The other 20 took part in the Sport's Day's performance) 2008's SPM paper. And all that I could was gasping and sighing. I have no idea how to solve those questions. Hard as rock! Functions? Quadratic Functions? Differentiation?? WHAT..??? My mind goes blank! Blub! Shut down..! I think i need to study more Additional Mathematics.

I have spoonfuls of sights on S.H.S.I. to day. He looks very smart in his KRS (Kadet Remaja Sekolah) uniform. He smiles a lot too. I bet right now he's in the court teaching the juniors to march. I will post more about him when i get the chance to do so.

Well, tomorrow is the "day".. I'm determined to take A LOT of pictures of the event and my friends. So, i will write again tomorrow if 'm not too tired or busy. Right now i have to go take shower and do my prayer and get ready for dinner. =)

My CNY hols =)

my hols started out quite well..
as soon as i got back from school,
i asked Mak Long to go to the bus station to buy bus ticket for me to go to KL during the Chinese New Year hols.

i didn't get my hopes high because bus tickets are usually sold out during holidays.
to my greatest surprise, i got those tix very easily. i never thought that i'd really go to KL for this holiday..

there goes RM40 of my money but looking back, it was kind of worth it since i got to meet my sister, Eqa..

day 1 of the holiday was fine..all i did was relaxing at maya's crib in Wangsa Maju.
Eqa hasn't arrived yet. i'm counting time for her to come because i know that when she comes, she would bring her laptop and her SE earpiece with her and also Breaking Dawn [a novel by Stephenie Meyer, will post on more details about it later..]

Eqa came 2 days after i arrived in KL. we talked a LOT and we laso laughed a lot..
Before she arrived, she text me asking me to find someone to bring her to kajang. she told me that she wanted to meet uncle tony there because he brought with him Eqa's new laptop..
huhu..
both of us was hyper excited...[well, at least i know i am.. =)) ]

no one can take us there at first..
but then bro hanis messaged Eqa telling her that he is available if she needed a ride to Kajang..
so, without thinking twice, we agreed and off we go to Kajang..

to cut the story short (ahaxx.. ),we finally got her new laptop..

the next few days, we went to Tanjung Malim to visit nenek.. She looks quite healthy.. Thank Allah for that.. i was quite worry about her though.. anyway, when we arrived Tanjung Malim, ibu's family (except Ayah) was there.. Cute little Mira was there too..! i miss her.. A LOT!!
I played with her for most of my free time and i just don't want to let the adorable baby go..
She's addictive.. She's a drug..My personal type of drug..

When i was there, i went to Sg. Samak to go for a swim.. the place was nice! 5 stars for that.. unfortunately, it is not very clean.. i went there with Ibu, Bro Hanis, Pian, Ika, Bro Daus, Fahmi, Abg Long, Pak Su Ja'a, Mak Su (Pak Su's wife) and Abe (Mak Su's 3 year-old nephew).. it was fuuunnn!!! it's been a long time since i last went for a swim at the river.. unfortunately eqa was not with us at that time because her neck hurts, so she decided to stay at home with nenek..

We (me, Eqa and Bro Hanis) went back to KL after spending two nights at Tanjung Malim..Bro Hanis sent us back to Maya's house at Wangsa Maju.. And then he had to rush to go to work.. Pity him.. That very night, she messaged Eqa again, inviting us out for a movie.. We agreed.. That night we went to KLCC.. When we arrived at the cinema, the three of us could not decide what movie we should watch.. Both Eqa and Bro Hanis wanted to watch Maut but i wanted to watch Rec.. The majority has spoken, so we decided to watch Maut instead of Rec.. The movie was quite slow but it as a plain OK for me.. Nothing special except for the good actors.. After the movie, we went back home..

The next day, Eqa brought me to Midvalley.. We met Kak Ummi/Eda at KL Sentral..Then we took the KTM to Midvalley..Midvalley was HUGE..! My favourite shop was the LeSportSac shop.. Those bags were very pretty (& expensive)..! We go round and round the mall.. And headed home round 6.45pm..

It was the most excited and tiring CNY hols i ever had.. It feels good to go round the capital city of Malaysia.. (haha..pity me...)

I really2 hoped that i could do this again someday..
maybe after SPM tho..

a nite out

maya told me and mocQa that last night was a night out.

which means the whole family (excpt for bibik and pakmat) were going to dine out for dinner..

we went to mali's corner..

it was a very unique warung because it is fully self-service..
when i said self-service, then i really meant self-service..

the warung's specialty is char kuey teow..and in order to get those char kuey teow, customers must queue... same goes with beverages.. none of the workers at the warung will go to your table and scribble down what you want...

the food was nice and the drinks were quite good too.

everyone ordered char kuey teow special (RM6 each)..

pakcik tapau-ed two nasi lemak for bibik yati and pakmat..

then we went back to send those nasi.
on the way back, we sang a lot in the car.we mimed the radio..
adam was singing with much enthusiasm..
it was very ~~funny~~ hilarious..!

after that, adam insisted that we go and ronda2 around datuk k and siti's residence..
their crib was ~~big~~ huge! and a little bit scary...well, maybe because it has those little trees starting to climb up the walls of their house..the house, was pretty tho..
i took a couple of photos of their house..unfortunately it was not very clear...
